Marisol Organic Sea Salt – About Us
We market superior quality, hand-harvested Atlantic sea salt worldwide, working in partnership with traditional saltpan producers in protected nature reserves in southern Portugal. Our salts are certified organic by Certiplanet (PT-BIO-04).
Founded in 2000 by Andrea Siebert, a qualified biologist and PR professional, and entrepreneur Nico Böer (†), Marisol sells internationally to major supermarkets, specialist retailers and premium food producers.
We stand for the sustainable production and marketing of certified organic sea salt, natural and unprocessed, and are committed to verifiable quality, a transparent supply chain, and fair business partnerships.
A limited company, we have a dedicated team at our head office and warehouse in Olhão, East Algarve, and own the trademarks Marisol® and Flos Salis®.
